What product line do you use in your facial services?
Currently our main line for our facials is the Circadia professional skincare. Circadia professional skincare is based on the skin and body’s natural Circadian rhythms. Chronobiology, the biology of time, is based on the principles of defending skin from damage during the day, and stimulating repair during sleep, and is at the core of our concept. Circadia has been a pioneer in bringing the concept of Circadian rhythms to the health and wellness industry.
Circadia’s formulations combine pure botanicals, stem cell technology, second generation vitamins, and innovative peptide development to achieve optimal skin health and beauty. The Circadia Collection offers unique treatment options such as chemical peel alternatives, innovative delivery systems and patented ingredient technology exclusive to Circadia resulted in documented performance.
Should I expect to experience a break out after my facial?
The short answer is no. The products we use are not irritating to the skin and should not cause breakout to surface, you should leave your service feeling relaxed, and rejuvenated.
What should I experience after my facial?
You will leave your service feeling hydrated and relaxed and your skin will look healthy and glowing. Evening appointments will be prepped for their night time routine and will not require any care that evening. Day-time appointments will be protected with SPF for the day and should be cleansed again in the evening.
Should I have a facial before an important event?
Absolutely! Your skin will look healthy and glowing directly after your service.
Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
Of course! a deep cleansing service is always provided and will remove any dirt, oil or debris from your skin.
Should I have a facial if I have sensitive skin?
Yes. There are many factors involved in sensitive skin and sometimes a facial service can help determine what may be causing this. A lot of times what clients are using at home can be the cause or the solution for sensitive skin.
Should I have a facial service if I'm pregnant?
Yes. Facials during pregnancy are especially important during pregnancy for many reasons. Your skin can be reflective of the hormonal changes occurring within your body and having regular services can help alleviate some of the symptoms( i.e. breakout, increased redness and sensitivity) when your usual products may be off-limits. Facials can also be a wonderful relaxation tool which can keep your blood pressure at a healthy level.
May I have a waxing service during my facial?
Yes. This is done routinely and is no problem to accommodate.
Do facials hurt?
Facials are designed to be a relaxing experience, but sometimes clients main concern is to remove blackheads and white head from their skin. This portion can be slightly uncomfortable but is always optional and our products can be just as effective in sluffing away dirt and oil from the skin.
Should I wear contacts or glasses to my appointment?
We suggest wearing glasses to your appointment that you will remove during your service, this is for your comfort and not a requirement.
